I first read about Step Juan on a magazine during  my flight to Bangkok.  Step Juan is a walking expedition done by one man. The idea is to walkfrom Pagudpod to Sorsogon withoutany means of vehicular assistance and to do this for several weeks, straight, stopping only for food and rest. The backbone and foundationfor this idea is to raise funds for the cancer children under theCancer Warriors…… Foundation. Step Juan’s 50 day* walk will be done by Tomas Leonor, an avid mountaineer and a passionate artist. His walkwill cover around 1,294 kilometers of long highways and pass 33 majorcities and 150 towns. (source Step Juan’s site).

Step Juan will begin on January 11, 2010.

@ La Trinidad, Benguet, my 1st solitary trip last July 30, 2008

This is my 1st blog.  Been doing solitary backpacking since July 30, 2008 , mainly concentrating on posting travel photos on my facebook  & flickr account, and my multipy site, but now I think  it’s about time to write a diary of  my adventures and misadventures.  Hopefully I can inspire not only Filipinos or Asians  like me but poor lonely travelers around the world as well,  to explore and see the beauty in the imperfect.  And also to show the world and to my fellow Filipinos, the many reasons Why I love the Philippines!!! Quoting the Pinoy master travel photographer,” Hindi dapat parang hindi sa Pilipinas, kundi maganda talaga ang Pilipinas!!!”Can’t wait to post my 1st travel blog… Coming soon!!!!!!
